Description
A CAT-A release authorisation entitles the holder to issue release certificates after simple scheduled maintenance work and after rectification of simple defects within the scope of the authorisation.
Purpose of The Course
A Cat-A release authorisation entitles the holder to issue Certificate of release to Service (CRS) after simple scheduled maintenance tasks and after the repair of simple defects within the scope of the authorisation. The issue of Certificate of Release to Service is limited to the work carried out personally by the holder of the authorisation.
In addition to theoretical instruction which is provided by AERO-Bildung, you need practical experience in a maintenance organisation to obtain the licence. You can acquire this before or after the theoretical training. Professional experience in the army can be recognised.
At the end of the course, we will give you a CoR certificate which states that you have completed an EASA (LBA) approved Theoretical&Practical CAT-A course successfully. Also you will obtain a certificate which states the exams which you pass successfully.
