A Cat-B1 certificate of release to service entitles the holder to issue certificates of release to service after maintenance, including work on the aircraft structure, engines and mechanical and electrical systems. It also covers the scope of the Cat-A license.
Purpose of The Course
In order to get an CAT-B1 License, you should provide a CoR Certificate (Certification of Recognition) to the LBA (EASA) for each CAT-B1 module.
Since you already have a Cat-B2 license, the aim of this course is to prepare you for the Part-66 CAT-B1 difference exams. At the end of each module training, you will attend a multiple-choice exam. For Module 7, you will also attend essay exams.
At the end of the course, we will give you a CoR certificate which states the exams which you pass successfully.
This course consists of two parts:
- An intensive training to improve your theoretical knowledge
- An LBA (EASA) approved Part-66 module exam at the end of each module.
