A Cat-B1.3 license entitles the holder to issue certificates of release to service after maintenance, including work on the helicopter structure, gas turbine engines and mechanical and electrical systems. It also covers the scope of the Cat-A license.
Purpose of The Course
In order to get an CAT-B1.3 License, you should provide a CoR Certificate (Certification of Recognition) to the LBA (EASA) for each CAT-B1.3 module.
Since you already have a Cat-B1.1 license, the aim of this course is to prepare you for the Part-66 CAT-B1.3 difference exam. This difference training/exam covers the “Module 12 Helicopter Aerodynamics, Structures and Systems”.
At the end of the course, you will attend a Module-12 exam. If you pass the exam successfully, you will receive an EASA Approved Module-12 CoR (exam only) certificate.
This course consists of two parts:
- An intensive training to improve your theoretical knowledge
- An LBA (EASA) approved Part-66 module exam at the end of each module.
