Description
A Cat-B1.2 license entitles the holder to issue certificates of release to service after maintenance, including work on the aircraft structure, piston engines and mechanical and electrical systems. It also covers the scope of the Cat-A license.
Purpose of The Course
In order to get an CAT-B1.2 License, you should provide a CoR Certificate (Certification of Recognition) to the LBA (EASA) for each CAT-B1.2 module.
Since you already have a Cat-B1.1 license, the aim of this course is to prepare you for the Part-66 CAT-B1.2 difference exam. This difference training covers the “Module 16 Piston Engine”.
At the end of the course, you will attend a Module-16 exam. If you pass the exam successfully, you will receive an EASA Approved Module-16 CoR (exam only) certificate.
